The Gibsland-Coleman Bulldogs basketball team (Gibsland, LA), was nudged 75-71 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Calvary Baptist Academy Cavaliers (Shreveport, LA)
The Cavaliers now possess a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Green Oaks for a 2A District 1 battle on Friday, December 16. Calvary Baptist Academy will confront a Giants team coming off a 51-39 non-league win over Haughton (Haughton, LA). The Giants record now stands at 6-8.
The Bulldogs (13-2) will now prepare for their battle against Ruston (Ruston, LA). The Bearcats come into the non-league battle with a 13-1 record. In their last battle, Ruston edged Neville (Monroe, LA), 62-35, in a non-league battle.
