The Chesapeake Cougars basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting Green Street Academy Chargers to 46 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Cougars now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Germantown Friends for a non-league contest on Monday, December 19. Chesapeake will battle a team coming off a 70-34 non-league win over Girard College (Philadelphia, PA). The record now stands at 4-4.

The Chargers (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against KIPP College Prep (Washington, DC). The Panthers enter the non-league contest with a 0-5 record.
