The Chester Clippers basketball team scored 68 points and held the visiting Newark Yellowjackets to 60 in the Clippers non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Clippers now sport a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Delcastle Technical for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 17. Chester will meet a Cougars team coming off a 43-24 non-league win over Delaware Military Academy (Wilmington, DE). The Cougars record now stands at 1-2.

The Yellowjackets (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Dickinson (Wilmington, DE). The Rams enter the Blue Hen Flight - B contest with a 0-3 record. In their last contest, Dickinson was outscored by Mount Pleasant (Wilmington, DE), 59-31, in a non-league contest.
