Julian Jaguars (Chicago, IL) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Chicago Washington Patriots (Chicago, IL), 53-28 in a league bout.

With the win, Julian upgrades its record to 7-2 on the season. The Jaguars travel to Schurz (Chicago, IL) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Monday, December 19. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 3-7. Schurz won 73-36 in their recent league bout against Foreman (Chicago, IL)

Next up, the Patriots play the Whiting Oilers (Whiting, IN) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 16. Chicago Washington will attempt to upgrade on its 5-4 season record. The Oilers go into the bout with a 2-2 record after their 54-52 league loss to Calumet New Tech (Gary, IN).
