In Thursday's non-league match, the host Effingham County Rebels basketball team scored a decisive 70-37 triumph over the Claxton Tigers.

In their next game, the Rebels meet the Richmond Hill Wildcats (Richmond Hill, GA) in a non-league match, on Friday, December 16. Effingham County will attempt to better on its 6-1 season record.
