California High School Basketball - Del Norte nips Montgomery

Del Norte Nighthawks (San Diego, CA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Montgomery Aztecs (San Diego, CA), 67-65 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Del Norte upgrades its record to 6-3 on the campaign. The Nighthawks host Poway (Poway, CA) to play the Titans in a Avocado bout on Wednesday, January 11. The Titans come into the bout with a record of 4-4.

Next up, the Aztecs play the Hilltop Lancers (Chula Vista, CA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 27. Montgomery will attempt to upgrade on its 5-2 season record.
