The Powder Valley Badgers basketball team scored 61 points and held the visiting Elgin Huskies to 23 in the Badgers league triumph on Thursday.
The Badgers now sport a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cove for a 1A Old Oregon contest on Friday, December 16. Powder Valley will battle a Leopards team coming off a 51-50 non-league win over Four Rivers (Ontario, OR). The Leopards record now stands at 4-1.
The Huskies (0-5) will now prepare for their contest against Four Rivers (Ontario, OR). The Falcons enter the non-league contest with a 3-3 record. In their last contest, Four Rivers was ripped by Cove (Cove, OR), 51-50, in a non-league match.
