West Virginia High School Basketball - Fairmont Senior crushes Lewis County

December 15, 2022: Fairmont, WV 26554

Fairmont Senior Polar Bears (Fairmont, WV) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Lewis County Minutemen (Weston, WV), 95-38 in a league bout.

With the win, Fairmont Senior improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Polar Bears host Robert C. Byrd (Clarksburg, WV) to confront the Eagles in a Big Ten challenge on Saturday, December 17. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 0-1.

Next up, the Minutemen confront the Richwood Lumberjacks (Richwood, WV) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 20. Lewis County will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Lumberjacks come into the challenge with a 0-3 record after their 67-47 league loss to Montcalm (Montcalm, WV).
