Mentorship Academy Sharks (Baton Rouge, LA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Glen Oaks Panthers (Baton Rouge, LA), 50-37 in a league bout.

With the win, Mentorship Academy upgrades its record to 4-5 on the season. The Sharks host French Settlement (French Settlement, LA) to play the Lions in a non-league bout on Friday, December 16. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 6-2. French Settlement won 56-48 in their recent non-league bout against Phoenix (Braithwaite, LA)

Next up, the Panthers play the Capitol Lions (Baton Rouge, LA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 3. Glen Oaks will attempt to upgrade on its 7-2 season record.
