Sunset Apollos (Portland, OR) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Hillsboro Spartans (Hillsboro, OR), 84-27 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Sunset upgrades its record to 1-4 on the season. The Apollos travel to Aloha (Beaverton, OR) to play the Warriors in a 6A Metro bout on Friday, January 13. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 0-6.

Next up, the Spartans play the Hood River Valley Eagles (Hood River, OR) in a 5A Northwest Oregon bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Hillsboro will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record.
