The Knoch Knights (Saxonburg, PA) basketball felled the visiting Valley Vikings (New Kensington, PA), 51-42 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Knights (1-6) will now prepare for their test against Chartiers Valley (Bridgeville, PA). The Colts go into the non-league test with a 5-0 record. In their last test, Chartiers Valley thwarted Mt. Lebanon (Pittsburgh, PA), 66-51, in a non-league test.
The Vikings now own a 1-5 record. They play next when they host Apollo Ridge for a WPIAL 3A 3 test on Friday, December 16. Valley will encounter a Vikings squad coming off a 69-33 non-league loss to Jeannette (Jeannette, PA). The Vikings record now stands at 1-5.
