The Tipton Cardinals basketball team scored 78 points and held the host La Monte Vikings to 34 in the Cardinals league triumph on Thursday.
The Cardinals now sport a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Crest Ridge for a non-league contest on Monday, December 19. Tipton will meet a Cougars team coming off a 52-42 non-league loss to Wellington-Napoleon (Wellington, MO). The Cougars record now stands at 4-1.
The Vikings (0-8) will now prepare for their contest against Chilhowee (Chilhowee, MO). The Indians enter the non-league contest with a 0-3 record. In their last contest, Chilhowee was routed by Northeast Vernon County (Walker, MO), 72-50, in a non-league contest.
