In Thursday's non-league outing, the Lemon Bay Manta Rays (Englewood, FL) basketball squad beat the visiting Out-of-Door Academy Thunder (Sarasota, FL), by a margin of 39-30.
The Manta Rays (4-2) will now prepare for their outing against DeSoto County (Arcadia, FL). The Bulldogs go into the non-league outing with a 3-2 record. In their last outing, DeSoto County defeated Mulberry (Mulberry, FL), 60-50, in a non-league outing.
The Thunder now own a 5-3 record. They play next when they travel to The Classical Academy of Sarasota for a non-league outing on Tuesday, January 3. Out-of-Door Academy will clash with a Patriots squad coming off a 70-47 non-league loss to Imagine School at North Port (North Port, FL). The Patriots record now stands at 2-4.
