Leroy Greene Academy Lions (Sacramento, CA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Sierra Academy of Expeditionary Learning Fire Wolves (Nevada City, CA), 75-17 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Leroy Greene Academy upgrades its record to 8-2 on the season. The Lions travel to Vacaville Christian (Vacaville, CA) to play the Falcons in a non-league bout on Friday, December 16. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 6-1. Vacaville Christian won 70-36 in their recent non-league bout against Aspire Langston Hughes Academy (Stockton, CA)

Next up, the Fire Wolves play the Sacramento Waldorf Waves (Fair Oaks, CA) in a Central Valley California League bout, on Saturday, December 17. Sierra Academy of Expeditionary Learning will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Waves go into the bout with a 10-2 record after their 57-18 non-league win over Cristo Rey (Sacramento, CA).
