Idaho High School Basketball - North Gem overwhelmed by Malad

December 15, 2022: Bancroft, ID 83217

The Malad Dragons basketball team scored 62 points and restricted the host North Gem Cowboys to 39 in the Dragons non-league victory on Thursday.

The Dragons now sport a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Firth for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 17. Malad will battle a Cougars team coming off a 37-35 non-league win over Declo (Declo, ID). The Cougars record now stands at 4-2.

The Cowboys (3-4) will now prepare for their contest against Taylor's Crossing (Idaho Falls, ID). The come into the 1A Rocky Mountain contest with a 1-4 record. In their last contest, Taylor's Crossing was routed by Grace Lutheran (Pocatello, ID), 51-21, in a non-league contest.
