The Northwest Mustangs (Hughesville, MO) basketball knocked off the host Prairie Home Panthers (Prairie Home, MO), 77-64 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Mustangs (9-0) will now prepare for their test against Smithton (Smithton, MO). The Tigers go into the non-league test with a 0-3 record. In their last test, Smithton went down by Northwest (Hughesville, MO), 67-50, in a league test.

The Panthers now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Westran for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 3.
