Puget Sound Adventist Sharks (Kirkland, WA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Northwest Yeshiva Lions (Mercer Island, WA), 54-43 in a league bout.

With the win, Puget Sound Adventist upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Sharks host Concordia Christian Academy (Tacoma, WA) to play the Hawks in a 1B/2B Sea-Tac bout on Tuesday, January 3. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 2-4. Concordia Christian Academy won 62-58 in their recent league game against Quilcene (Quilcene, WA)

With the defeat, Northwest Yeshiva moves to 1-5 on the year. The Lions travel to Northwest Christian (Lacey, WA) to face the Wolverines in a non-league game on Thursday, January 5. The Wolverines enter the game with a record of 2-3.
