Nevada High School Basketball - Pyramid Lake edges Pershing County

The Pyramid Lake Lakers (Nixon, NV) basketball nipped the host Pershing County Mustangs (Lovelock, NV), 57-54 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Lakers (4-3) will now prepare for their test against Eureka (Eureka, NV). The Vandals go into the non-league test with a 6-1 record. In their last test, Eureka got by Pyramid Lake (Nixon, NV), 67-42, in a non-league test.

The Mustangs now own a 3-6 record. They play next when they travel to Smith Valley for a non-league test on Saturday, December 17. Pershing County will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 87-65 non-league loss to Mineral County (Hawthorne, NV). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-8.
