Wilson Academy (Lithonia, GA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting South Gwinnett Comets (Snellville, GA), 66-64 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Wilson Academy upgrades its record to 7-2 on the season. The host St. Francis (Alpharetta, GA) to play the Knights in a non-league bout on Friday, December 16. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 3-5. St. Francis lost 76-57 in their recent non-league bout against Christian Heritage (Dalton, GA)

Next up, the Comets play the Coral Springs Colts (Coral Springs, FL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 17. South Gwinnett will attempt to upgrade on its 5-2 season record. The Colts go into the bout with a 4-3 record after their 95-66 non-league win over South Broward (Hollywood, FL).
