The Nevada Union Miners basketball team scored 46 points and held the host Union Mine Diamondbacks to 40 in the Miners non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Miners now sport a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bear River for a non-league contest on Friday, December 16.

The Diamondbacks (2-5) will now prepare for their contest against Laguna Creek (Elk Grove, CA). The Cardinals enter the non-league contest with a 4-2 record.
