Texas High School Basketball - Covenant Christian nudges Alpha Omega Academy

In Thursday's non-league outing, the Covenant Christian Cougars (Conroe, TX) basketball squad edged the host Alpha Omega Academy Lions (Huntsville, TX), by a count of 44-41.

The Cougars (4-2) will now prepare for their outing against Grace Christian Academy (Houston, TX). The Eagles go into the TAPPS 2A District 6 outing with a 2-4 record.

The Lions now hold a 3-6 record. They play next when they host First Baptist Christian for a TAPPS 3A District 5 outing on Tuesday, January 10.
