Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy Swamp Owls (Kenner, LA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Bonnabel Bruins (Kenner, LA), 47-41 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy upgrades its record to 9-0 on the season. The Swamp Owls travel to L.W. Higgins (Marrero, LA) to play the Hurricanes in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 3. The Hurricanes go into the bout with a record of 4-2.
