Caledonia Fighting Scots (Caledonia, MI) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Thornapple Kellogg Trojans (Middleville, MI), 40-27 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Caledonia upgrades its record to 2-3 on the season. The Fighting Scots travel to Traverse City West (Traverse City, MI) to play the Titans in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 17. The Titans go into the bout with a record of 0-6. Traverse City West lost 39-26 in their recent non-league challenge against Grand Haven (Grand Haven, MI)

Next up, the Trojans confront the Catholic Central Cougars (Grand Rapids, MI) in a Ottawa-Kent - Blue challenge, on Friday, January 6. Thornapple Kellogg will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record.
