The Cascade Cougars basketball team (Turner, OR), was toppled 46-35 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host South Albany Redhawks (Albany, OR)

The Redhawks now possess a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Westview for a non-league battle on Saturday, December 17. South Albany will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 48-39 non-league loss to Forest Grove (Forest Grove, OR). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-1.

The Cougars (1-2) will now prepare for their battle against Marist (Eugene, OR). The Spartans come into the non-league battle with a 4-1 record. In their last battle, Marist beat North Marion (Aurora, OR), 63-38, in a non-league battle.
