England Lions (England, AR) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Maumelle Charter Falcons (Maumelle, AR), 68-39 in a league bout.

With the victory, England upgrades its record to 8-2 on the campaign. The Lions host Magnet Cove (Malvern, AR) to play the Panthers in a 2A Region 5 bout on Friday, December 16. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 4-3.

Next up, the Falcons play the DeWitt Dragons (DeWitt, AR) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 17. Maumelle Charter will attempt to upgrade on its 2-8 season record.
