Howard Wildcats (Wilmington, DE) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Middletown Cavaliers (Middletown, DE), 53-49 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Howard upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Wildcats host Hodgson Vo-Tech (Newark, DE) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 20. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 1-2. Hodgson Vo-Tech won 55-19 in their recent non-league bout against McKean (Wilmington, DE)

Next up, the Cavaliers play the Hodgson Vo-Tech Eagles (Newark, DE) in a Blue Hen Flight - A bout, on Tuesday, January 3. Middletown will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
