Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Kiski Area can't hold off Mars

The Mars Fightin' Planets basketball team scored 44 points and restricted the visiting Kiski Area Cavaliers to 39 in the Fightin' Planets non-league victory on Thursday.
The Fightin' Planets now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fox Chapel for a WPIAL 5A 2 contest on Tuesday, January 3. Mars will battle a Foxes team coming off a 41-38 league win over North Hills (Pittsburgh, PA). The Foxes record now stands at 5-0.
The Cavaliers (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against Penn-Trafford (Harrison City, PA). The Warriors come into the non-league contest with a 6-1 record.
