In Thursday's non-league outing, the West Lincoln Bears (Brookhaven, MS) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Mississippi School for the Deaf Bulldogs (Jackson, MS), by a count of 68-29.
The Bears (11-1) will now prepare for their outing against Loyd Star (Brookhaven, MS). The Hornets go into the 2A Region 7 outing with a 3-10 record. In their last outing, Loyd Star was crushed by Parklane Academy (McComb, MS), 54-45, in a non-league outing.
The Bulldogs now hold a 5-7 record.
