Seaside Seagulls (Seaside, OR) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Neah-Kah-Nie Pirates (Rockaway Beach, OR), 48-45 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Seaside upgrades its record to 4-1 on the season. The Seagulls travel to Corbett (Corbett, OR) to play the Cardinals in a non-league bout on Friday, December 16. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 2-0. Corbett won 64-56 in their recent non-league bout against Astoria (Astoria, OR)

Next up, the Pirates play the Yamhill-Carlton Tigers (Yamhill, OR) in a 3A Coastal Range bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Neah-Kah-Nie will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record.
