The Pascack Valley Panthers basketball team scored 44 points and restricted the host River Dell Golden Hawks to 30 in the Panthers non-league victory on Thursday.

The Panthers now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Northern Highlands for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 17. Pascack Valley will battle a Highlanders team coming off a 46-19 non-league win over Wayne Valley (Wayne, NJ). The Highlanders record now stands at 1-0.

The Golden Hawks (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Dwight Morrow (Englewood, NJ). The Maroon Raiders come into the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Dwight Morrow was defeated by Bergenfield (Bergenfield, NJ), 39-28, in a non-league contest.
