North Carolina High School Basketball - Central Academy routs Langtree Charter

In Thursday's non-league outing, the Central Academy Cougars (Monroe, NC) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Langtree Charter Lions (Mooresville, NC), by a margin of 59-37.

The Cougars (1-7) will now prepare for their outing against North Davidson (Lexington, NC). The Black Knights go into the non-league outing with a 6-2 record. In their last outing, North Davidson smashed North Wilkes (Hays, NC), 41-37, in a non-league outing.

The Lions now own a 0-8 record. They play next when they travel to Lake Norman Charter for a non-league outing on Tuesday, December 20. Langtree Charter will clash with a Knights squad coming off a 59-22 non-league win over Carson (China Grove, NC). The Knights record now stands at 6-2.
