Florida High School Basketball - Union County fells Chiefland

December 15, 2022: Chiefland, FL 32626

Union County Fightin' Tigers (Lake Butler, FL) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Chiefland Indians (Chiefland, FL), 42-24 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Union County upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Fightin' Tigers travel to Middleburg (Middleburg, FL) to play the Broncos in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 20. The Broncos go into the bout with a record of 1-0.

Next up, the Indians play the Dixie County Bears (Cross City, FL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 16. Chiefland will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Bears go into the bout with a 0-7 record after their 79-41 non-league loss to Crystal River (Crystal River, FL).
