The Whitney Wildcats basketball team scored 79 points and restricted the visiting El Camino Eagles to 37 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Thursday.

The Wildcats now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Placer for a non-league contest on Friday, December 16. Whitney will battle a Hillmen team coming off a 74-40 non-league win over El Dorado (Placerville, CA). The Hillmen record now stands at 5-5.

The Eagles (0-8) will now prepare for their contest against El Dorado (Placerville, CA). The Cougars come into the non-league contest with a 6-5 record. In their last contest, El Dorado was routed by Placer (Auburn, CA), 74-40, in a non-league contest.
