Pacific Ridge Firebird (Carlsbad, CA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Mission Vista (Oceanside, CA), 44-33 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Pacific Ridge upgrades its record to 5-7 on the season. The Firebird host Calvin Christian (Escondido, CA) to play the Crusaders in a bout on Tuesday, January 3. The Crusaders go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the play the Guajome Park Academy Frogs (Vista, CA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 16. Mission Vista will attempt to upgrade on its 8-3 season record.
