Arroyo Dons (San Lorenzo, CA) supporters were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Concord Minutemen (Concord, CA), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next up, the Dons clash with the Encinal Jets (Alameda, CA) in a West Alameda County - Foothill battle, on Friday, December 16. Arroyo will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Jets come into the battle with a 2-2 record after their 1-0 league win over Mt. Eden (Hayward, CA).

The Minutemen (0-3) will now prepare for their battle against Hercules (Hercules, CA). The Titans come into the non-league battle with a 3-4 record. In their last battle, Hercules was nudged by Salesian College Preparatory (Richmond, CA), 1-0, in a league battle.
