The Brownwood Lions basketball team (Brownwood, TX), was overwhelmed 95-40 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Abilene Eagles (Abilene, TX)
The Eagles now possess a 13-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Monterey for a 5A Region I District 4 battle on Tuesday, December 19. Abilene will confront a Plainsmen team coming off a 68-55 non-league loss to Amarillo (Amarillo, TX). The Plainsmen record now stands at 8-9.
The Lions (8-9) will now prepare for their battle against Snyder (Snyder, TX). The Tigers come into the non-league battle with a 6-10 record.
