Arizona High School Basketball - Saguaro topples Apollo

In Friday's non-league outing, the Saguaro Sabercats (Scottsdale, AZ) basketball team ran past the visiting Apollo Hawks (Glendale, AZ), by a final score of 55-45.

In their next game, the Sabercats meet the New Trier Trevians (Winnetka, IL) in a non-league match, on Saturday, December 16. Saguaro will attempt to move on its 4-4 season record. The Trevians enter the match with a 8-1 record after their 67-51 non-league win over Gilbert Christian (Gilbert, AZ).

With the defeat, Apollo moves to 6-2 on the year. The Hawks travel to Kellis (Glendale, AZ) to meet the Cougars in a 5A Northwest match on Monday, December 18. The Cougars enter the match with a record of 5-6. Kellis won 57-48 in their recent non-league match against Peoria (Peoria, AZ)
