    The Argyle Eagles basketball team scored 68 points and held the host Horn Jaguars to 61 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Friday.

    The Eagles now sport a 16-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Colleyville Heritage for a 5A Region I District 7 contest on Tuesday, December 19. Argyle will meet a Panthers team coming off a 68-57 non-league win over Southwest (Fort Worth, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 13-2.

    The Jaguars (10-8) will now prepare for their contest against Mesquite (Mesquite, TX). The Skeeters enter the 6A Region II District 10 contest with a 6-10 record. In their last contest, Mesquite nudged Celina (Celina, TX), 68-67, in a non-league contest.
