In Friday's league outing, the Flint Southwestern Academy Knights (Flint, MI) basketball squad beat the host Atherton Wolverines (Burton, MI), by a count of 59-41.

The Knights (1-3) will now prepare for their outing against Bridgeport (Bridgeport, MI). The Bearcats go into the non-league outing with a 0-4 record. In their last outing, Bridgeport was topped by Freeland (Freeland, MI), 68-57, in a league outing.

The Wolverines now hold a 2-3 record. They play next when they host Bendle for a Genesee Area - Red outing on Monday, December 18. Atherton will clash with a Tigers squad coming off a 73-59 league loss to Beecher (Flint, MI). The Tigers record now stands at 5-1.
