The Marmion Cadets (Aurora, IL) basketball knocked off the visiting Aurora Central Catholic Chargers (Aurora, IL), 41-33 in Friday's league test.
The Cadets (5-6) will now prepare for their test against Marquette (Ottawa, IL). The Crusaders go into the non-league test with a 3-3 record. In their last test, Marquette went down by Indian Creek (Shabbona, IL), 57-53, in a non-league test.
The Chargers now own a 3-6 record. They play next when they host Illinois Math & Science Academy for a non-league test on Monday, December 18. Aurora Central Catholic will encounter a Titans squad coming off a 67-65 non-league loss to Elgin Academy (Elgin, IL). The Titans record now stands at 3-7.
