The Austin Black Bears (Decatur, AL) basketball crushed the visiting Russellville Golden Tigers (Russellville, AL), 73-52 in Friday's non-league test.

The Black Bears (11-3) will now prepare for their test against McAdory (McCalla, AL). The Yellowjackets go into the non-league test with a 6-5 record. In their last test, McAdory was trounced by Spain Park (Hoover, AL), 48-45, in a non-league test.

The Golden Tigers now own a 3-3 record. They play next when they travel to Tanner for a non-league test on Saturday, December 16. Russellville will encounter a Rattlers squad coming off a 65-31 league win over Lindsay Lane Christian Academy (Athens, AL). The Rattlers record now stands at 5-2.
