With the victory, Douglass improves its record to 6-4 on the campaign. The Astros travel to Northgate (Newnan, GA) to play the Vikings in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 16. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 6-2. Northgate won 63-39 in their recent non-league challenge against Mundy's Mill (Jonesboro, GA)

Next up, the Trojans play the Mays Raiders (Atlanta, GA) in a AAAAA Region 5 challenge, on Tuesday, January 2. Banneker will attempt to improve on its 4-6 season record. The Raiders come into the challenge with a 7-2 record after their 50-49 non-league loss to Decatur (Decatur, GA).
