Virginia High School Basketball - Blue Ridge crushes Virginia Academy

Blue Ridge Barons (St. George, VA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Virginia Academy Patriots (Ashburn, VA), 85-39 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Blue Ridge upgrades its record to 6-1 on the season. The Barons travel to Potomac School (McLean, VA) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 16. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 3-5. Potomac School lost 56-47 in their recent league bout against St. Andrew's Episcopal (Potomac, MD)
Next up, the Patriots play the Miller School of Albemarle Mavericks (Charlottesville, VA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 16. Virginia Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 2-12 season record. The Mavericks go into the bout with a 4-2 record after their 79-71 non-league loss to St. Anne's-Belfield (Charlottesville, VA).
