Byron Tigers (Byron, IL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Winnebago Indians (Winnebago, IL), 63-44 in a league bout.

With the win, Byron upgrades its record to 5-0 on the season. The Tigers travel to Pearl City (Pearl City, IL) to play the Wolves in a non-league bout on Monday, December 18. The Wolves go into the bout with a record of 2-5. Pearl City lost 76-48 in their recent league bout against Pecatonica (Pecatonica, IL)

Next up, the Indians play the Polo Marcos (Polo, IL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 16. Winnebago will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Marcos go into the bout with a 3-3 record after their 54-51 non-league win over Christian Life (Rockford, IL).
