Alabama High School Basketball - Carroll nips Pike County

December 15, 2023: Brundidge, AL 36010

Carroll Eagles (Ozark, AL) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Pike County Bulldogs (Brundidge, AL), 50-47 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Carroll upgrades its record to 9-2 on the campaign. The Eagles host Cottonwood (Cottonwood, AL) to play the Bears in a non-league bout on Monday, December 18. The Bears come into the bout with a record of 5-5. Cottonwood won 50-41 in their recent non-league bout against Ashford (Ashford, AL)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Goshen Eagles (Goshen, AL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 19. Pike County will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 2-7 record after their 65-46 non-league loss to Brantley (Brantley, AL).
