The Marysville-Pilchuck Tomahawks basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting Cascade Bruins to 54 in the Tomahawks league triumph on Friday.

The Tomahawks now sport a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Jackson for a non-league contest on Monday, December 18. Marysville-Pilchuck will meet a Timberwolves team coming off a 80-65 non-league loss to Renton (Renton, WA). The Timberwolves record now stands at 3-2.

The Bruins (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against Monroe (Monroe, WA). The Bearcats enter the 2A/3A Wesco contest with a 4-1 record. In their last contest, Monroe was nudged by Cedarcrest (Duvall, WA), 66-55, in a league contest.
