Texas High School Basketball - Celina can't hold off Mesquite

The Mesquite Skeeters basketball team scored 68 points and restricted the host Celina Bobcats to 67 in the Skeeters non-league victory on Friday.

The Skeeters now sport a 6-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Horn for a 6A Region II District 10 contest on Tuesday, December 19. Mesquite will battle a Jaguars team coming off a 68-61 non-league loss to Argyle (Argyle, TX). The Jaguars record now stands at 10-8.

The Bobcats (8-8) will now prepare for their contest against Godley (Godley, TX). The Wildcats come into the non-league contest with a 6-7 record.
