The South Prairie/Max (Minot, ND) basketball felled the visiting Central McLean [Turtle Lake-Mercer/Underwood/McClusky] Cougars (Turtle Lake, ND), 72-63 in Friday's non-league test.
The (2-2) will now prepare for their test against Bishop Ryan (Minot, ND). The Lions go into the non-league test with a 3-0 record. In their last test, Bishop Ryan thwarted Tioga (Tioga, ND), 76-27, in a non-league test.
The Cougars now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Surrey for a non-league test on Saturday, February 3.
