Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the West Franklin Falcons (Pomona, KS) and the visiting Chase County Bulldogs (Cottonwood Falls, KS), saw West Franklin's basketball squad hold off Chase County by a count of 53-52.

With the victory, West Franklin upgrades its record to 6-0 on the campaign. The Falcons host Lyndon (Lyndon, KS) to play the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Monday, December 18. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 5-0. Lyndon won 63-33 in their recent non-league challenge against Osage City (Osage City, KS)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Northern Heights Wildcats (Allen, KS) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 19. Chase County will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 0-5 record after their 61-48 non-league loss to Council Grove (Council Grove, KS).
