The East Central Eagles (Sandstone, MN) basketball nipped the host Chisholm Bluestreaks (Chisholm, MN), 61-54 in Friday's non-league test.

The Eagles (4-4) will now prepare for their test against Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted (Howard Lake, MN). The Lakers go into the non-league test with a 3-1 record. In their last test, Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted got by Hinckley-Finlayson (Hinckley, MN), 81-65, in a non-league test.

The Bluestreaks now own a 3-3 record. They play next when they travel to Northland for a A Section 7 test on Tuesday, December 19. Chisholm will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 107-88 league loss to North Woods (Cook, MN). The Eagles record now stands at 2-2.
